Deadline to participate in Hamilton's July 4th Parade
June 14th is the deadline to register to particpate in Hamilton's 57th annual July 4th parade. Click here to download the entry form.
The parade will take place on Thursday, July 4th, 2019, with line-up beginning at the Butler County Fairgrounds at 9:00 A.M. The parade will promptly leave the fairgrounds at 10:00 A.M.
This year's theme is: Celebrating Hamilton's Great Parks
Prizes will be awarded to the float winners that best carry out the theme listed above. We will divide the prize categories between Scout and non-Scout floats. For non-Scouts floats: 1st Prize is $750, 2nd Prize $500, 3rd Prize $200. For Scout floats: 1st Prize is $200, 2nd Prize $100, 3rd Prize $75. In addition, there will be an overall Grand Prize winner awarded $1,000. Prize winners will be awarded following the parade during the Patriotic Program at the Butler County Courthouse gazebo.
All applicants will be sent a confirmation email 1-2 weeks prior to July 4th to provide additional information regarding your line-up position in the parade and other instruction s. Please carefully review the details of that message.
The City of Hamilton Police Department advises that distribution of buttons, candy, handbills, trinkets, water or any other items by parade participants from the parade route is strictly prohibited due to safety concerns.
