Hamilton Community Foundation Hires Director of Communications
HAMILTON, Ohio – The Hamilton Community Foundation introduces Amy K Berlean in the role of Director of Communications. Berlean has extensive experience in marketing and communications in the non-profit sector and more than five years of community foundation experience.
“In line with our 2022 Strategic Plan initiative to more consistently and strategically promote the Foundation, we are pleased to announce the addition of Amy to our team,” says John Guidugli, President and CEO of the Hamilton Community Foundation. “Her credentials in the field and her knowledge of community foundations make her a good fit as we look to more fully promote our role in building our community.”
Berlean is a graduate of the Ohio State University where she studied Journalism. After spending three years in radio news she was recruited to the non-profit sector and has since accumulated more than 25 years in the field.
“I find it fulfilling on so many levels to work in a field that is focused on building stronger communities, families, schools and organizations. Non-profit work is where I belong,” she says.
Berlean credits the impeccable reputation of the Hamilton Community Foundation for her move.
“I’ve known for years that Hamilton is doing incredible things. I’ve also been keenly aware of the Hamilton Community Foundation involvement in what’s happening in the community. Add to that their involvement with the Fairfield Community Foundation and Ross Community Foundation and I see nothing but potential as we prepare to tell the Foundation’s story, and the inspiring stories of our community partners.”
Berlean began her tenure with the Hamilton Community Foundation October 3.
